Days off

It’s a real struggle for me on my day off due to just not being busy to stay on the intermittent fasting schedule. I have cleaned my house and did laundry and changed bedding. How do you all stick to it on these kind of days ?

Sounds like you want to eat because you’re bored so you need to make it more fun. Choose a meal for when you break fast that requires decent prep time/ marinading time/ or has ingredients you don’t have so you need to go to the store. Invite a friend over to cook with you or to enjoy the meal with. If cooking is less of your thing, plan to meet up with a friend for a meal at your break fast time. If being around others isn’t your thing, treat yourself to a new or favorite restaurant. If none of that seems to fit into your lifestyle I find looking up what stage my body is in during the cycle and the hourly benefits I’ve achieved/will achieve keeps me motivated to stay on track.

Take the day off! I have taken weekends off and while I’m still health conscious I’m not sticking to a schedule. I was doing it 7 days a week but didn’t like doing it on the weekends. The Fastic app also gives me “diamonds” once I fast for 5 days of 16/8 so that’s also a good option if you want to earn your break days.
