Decreased Fast Durations when approaching goal weight?

I thought I heard this in one of Cole’s many videos but havent’ been able to find it. Is it recommended to do less long fasts when you are getting into striking range of your target weight? Like last 20 to 15 lbs?

Answer

It’s not really “decreasing” as in by choice, it’s you’re gonna have less fat which = less energy to get from. So you won’t be able to actually do long fast when you get closer to your GW. (this is assuming your gw is actually shredded/lean) So you’re gonna have to do a lot of exercise and in a sense go the “mainstream” way to lose that last 10ish pounds. most likely OMAD and a lot of movement.

(But this is really for the guy who goes on swimming sessions for hours/ moves around literally all day, most people who work in offices and don’t move won’t be affected by this at all since you don’t consume much energy and can probably maintain your 48/72s even at the last 10lbs)

But yes cole has mentioned this but only a little since there’s probably 5% of his audience that can actually use that advice and the rest just need to get to that point.
