Developed an odor that I can even smell myself. I suspect a vitamin/supplement any clues?

What is your diet like? I noticed some time ago that my body odor had gotten particularly hard to handle with seemingly no cause/no change in my diet. Looking online I guessed certain bacteria had colonized on my skin and were feeding in specific excretions that come out in sweat; unrelated reasons but I switched up my diet (more veggies, less meats, minimal garlic or onion for now) and my scent has balanced out quite nicely. I’m not saying it’s a long term solution but changing diet up a bit might prove beneficial; could also try scrubbing armpits with hibicleanse when you shower to kill off colonized bacteria (dont do it all the time as extensive use isn’t good for your skin/beneficial bacteria, but if theres any particularly pesky types it might make them ease off).

I (46F) developed bad BO a few years ago and discovered it was the progesterone hormone pill doctor put me on. I had to use clinical strength deodorant for awhile. Once my hormone levels stabilized, the BO went away.
