Did anyone else get actually taller when fasting?

Im about 300lbs. I started fasting a couple of days ago after starting on ADHD meds. It appears I’m doing it correctly because my face is looking slimmer, skin is darker and glowing, and I’m feeling great!

But I also am kinda confused about my height. A couple of weeks ago, I had measured myself using a tape measure and came out to like 5’11 in the mornings and 5’9”-10” later in the day. After starting fasting, I thought something was a little different and measured myself again 2 days ago. Now it looks like I’m about 6”1” in the morning and 6’ later in the day.

I’m young and work a physically demanding job. I know I probably won’t be growing much from now on. But is this normal? Like could my body have been weighing myself down to the point that I was shorter? I don’t really understand how this is possible.

I imagine it’s due to your posture changing somehow and you standing up straighter? Not sure how old you are, but past a certain age it’s extremely unlikely that you’d be growing taller, especially at that rate. If you genuinely feel like you’re growing then it might be worth seeing a doctor

From fasting? I don’t know. But I do know that if your body feels/is stronger, it can hold you higher. There is a genetic max but if you say work out regularly and strengthen your body, it’s not unusual for people to add a couple inches. Especially if they were relatively weak before and had bad posture/weak core muscles

Personally I might ask your doctor about your meds and ADHD in general and see if that’s something that could be at play (ADHD leaving you overwhelmed/weak maybe? And the meds perk you up? I don’t actually know, though)
