They had a GP on saying how ‘healthy’ and beneficial it is for weight management to be eating small snacks every couple of hours throughout the day. She was then asked if snacking is good for people with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes and she said it’s great because it keeps blood sugar levels down…
It’s devastating to me how this information keeps getting passed around and how diabetic or pre-diabetic individuals are going to watch that and start taking on that advice only adding to their problem. How did this information that snacking is good for blood sugar control even come about in the first place? This has to stop!!

My thyroid levels read an overactive thyroid. All the blood work confirms it. Direct quote from my doctor “but obviously that can’t be accurate because your obese”. (You can’t make this crap up folks)
Nowadays there’s so much information available online from trusted sources with scientific data you have to just educate yourself, sadly. Especially on TV, the talking heads just want talking points not actual science
