I guess I’m in the minority. I drink diet soda daily, and have had no problems losing weight. Lost nearly 80 pounds doing keto without IF and drinking diet soda. Am currently back on keto with 18:6 IF to lose some of the weight I regained over the past couple years and have lost nearly 30 pounds thus far, all while drinking diet soda daily. So while you may drink diet soda and be able to lose weight, you also may not be able to do so. You’ll just have to experiment and see what happens to work better for you and go with whatever works.

As others have said, probably okay but not recommended.

However, if the difference between managing to remain on OMAD or not, then do it and taper off of it in a couple of months. Then use it as a reward once in a while if you still enjoy it.
