What are your thoughts?
My husband and I have been vegan for about 10 years. We’ve discussed our taurine levels, along with other things like iron, B12 etc., with our doctors and have had bloodwork done to check our levels, and ours are actually higher than average.
We eat really healthy food and make sure we get all our nutrients.
So, I guess my answer is that you don’t automatically have sub-optimal levels of taurine just because you are vegan.
