Hello everyone! I have started an IF program (using the Simple app for tracking, reminders, etc.) and am hoping to lose about 30 pounds by doing a 16:8 fast. My question, as a total newbie and not too familiar yet with the complexities of doing IF, regards taking vitamins and whether or not doing so will break your fast. I have always taken my vitamins with water early in the morning – is that okay to do, or does doing so suddenly jumpstart things just like eating food would? Sorry if this is a basic question, but I’m trying to learn and I want to do this right! Thanks for any advice you might be able to give me!
Everyone’s opinion will be different. I’m OMAD and eat around 4-5pm. Go to bed at 8, but I take my melatonin gummies, other meds, and my vitamin at 7pm. I would say it hasn’t been anything to affect me, personally. If it has and I don’t know it… then I’ll stay in the dark!
