Fasting is a deeply personal experience, but I am interested in hearing your views.
Generally speaking, I would say yes. I am mainly concerned about interrupting autophagy or spiking an insulin response. Although, when I fast for weight loss, I feel that its okay and I have indulged in the occasional pepsi max on fasts before.
I’ve read that artificial sweeteners ‘fool’ your body into an insulin response even though there’s no sugar. Not positive if that’s accurate but I’ve seen that reported in several places. Sorry no link.
