Is it working for you?
It is for me. I get up at 8, have a cup of green tea or two, and then have my first meal at 12. It took a little eating used to, it is mostly just mind games making you feel like you’re starving or can’t make it. I found that the busier I am from 8-12 the better, and now it has become one of the more productive times of they for me.
I usually do pretty much that but 12noon - 8pm. I’m not super strict tho, say if I’m busy from a certain time in the evening then I just shift that window back half an hour to an hour then reset the next day. The key thing with IF (IMO) is about habit / lifestyle. I started in Jan 2021 and by the end of summer had dropped two clothing sizes (so about 4 waist inches), basically just been maintaining since then and see no reason to change from IF as it works well with my exercise levels to keep me where I want to be.
