I know a lot of members here combine fasting with low carb/keto.
Is it your case? Do you eat pasta?
If not, what is your substitute.
I stay under 50 carbs a day. I don’t eat pasta often but I would eat regular pasta just in a small portion (a small portion is going to be close to 50 carbs). For me that would be a small scoop of spaghetti or a small square of lasagna. Then for my other meals I would do protein shakes or egg whites to avoid adding too many more carbs for the day.
Like penne/spaghetti? Yeah, but once every couple of months. I prefer instant noodles/ramen on a more regular basis, but usually have to bulk it up with eggs/tofu and vegetables to make it more filling (it’s also tastier this way though). Otherwise I could eat 5-6 packets of instant noodles all at once, which will probably take years off my life and keep me overweight.
If you can moderate, moderate. If you can’t, cut it out altogether. If keto/low carb helps you lose/maintain, do it. Whatever works for you.
