Don’t know if I should at all or what distance, whats your practice?
I like to, and i’m not a great runner so up to 4mi. but its hard to get the stars to line up for me to actually do it so its very hit or miss in terms of “practice”.
I prefer to get up early and bash out my max. I’m trying to get my kids to exercise so if i get up i take them for 1-2 mi. I’ll then try and run at lunch if i don’t run in the morning and max that out, but if i don’t have a change of clothes i just walk during lunch which i’ve been doing for years.
No Theory in particular other than burn through glycogen, but i generally only eat dinner and snacks up till about midnight (not ideal but it is what it is) so most of that is taken up in my fast anyway.
