I have been,water weight to start with but yes I have seen the scales go down daily in the early days. I have been doing OMAD lately and since December 25th I’m down from 157lbs to 145lbs. Down 1lb since yesterday So a loss of 12lbs
I sure didn’t the first go around. I thought my body must be in shock. It was actually from reading this sub that I discovered if I wanted to LOSE WEIGHT doing IF (I started it for insulin control), I shouldn’t really eat everything not nailed down during my window. Amazing. When I started IF again, 18:6, my main meal was shockingly moderate and my other was even smaller - but no eating between, no sugar, and - secret ingredient - what I WAS eating had to be tasty. Not boiled vegetables or stuff like that. Lost three pounds the first five days.

If I gain, there is no happy dancing and singing off tune for me. There is still tomorrow to look for!
