Going through my first extended fast, aiming at 5 days exactly.
I am drinking broth daily, along with some zinc and magnesium supplements.
Once I finish my fast, do I need to refeed slowly using sourkraut and similar, or is it fine to start eating normally?
I am planning to cycle 5-2 for the next 6-7 weeks, so I was hoping to eat more or less normally (keto) on the weekends.
Any advice from others who cycles 5-2 highly appreciated!
If it is your first extended fast, I would take it easy and listen to your gut, literally. I’ve spent a lot of time on the pot and in GI pain because I would be excited to eat after a long fast (who isn’t, right?), that I would break it wrong (even with healthy and balanced meals) or with too much lol good luck on your fasting!
