I’ve greatly reduced sugar and alcohol. I went from eating some type of dessert food almost daily to eating those foods somewhat rarely. I cut down from multiple alcoholic drinks per day to a few drinks per month. I basically do not drink at home anymore and save it for dinner out at a restaurant.
Otherwise, my diet hasn’t changed much. I do OMAD and eat what I want, usually healthy or healthy-ish.
I know I’m not getting 1500 calories each day so I’m probably at a significant deficit.
I try to keep it within my calorie budget, healthy, eat mindfully, and avoid sweets. Sometimes I splurge a little and don’t feel bad about it, nothing too crazy. Tonight we went out and I enjoyed my favorite clam chowder.
