Just was curious if y’all stick to a low carb diet or eat carbs between fasts.
I eat carbs. I eat bread, oatmeal, high sugary fruits, rice, beans, pasta. Sometimes even candy! Because that’s how I want to eat. I only do short fasts, most of the time 36 hours, but did a 60 hour one and I plan to do at least three more before Christmas to undo some damage I’ve done for the last two months…so I can do damage for a week from Christmas to New Years.
I fast for autophagy (and weight loss). I do ADF - alternate day fasting. If like my insulin response to be low as possible so I get as much heightened autophagy as soon as possible. So I stay very low carb/keto when I eat.
