Answer

Do you still get the benefit of rum if you drink it with coconut water?

Perhaps but it’ll take a lot of drinking since it’s diluted with the coconut water. At which point I’ve drank way too much fluid to be able to drink more and won’t get the benefits of rum

Answer

Drinking alcohol can mess with your body’s ability to soak up certain good stuff like potassium, which is found in lots in coconut water. If you’re just having a little bit of rum mixed with coconut water, it’s probably not gonna mess with your potassium too much. But if you’re drinking way too much alcohol, it can make you super dehydrated and that can make you lose important minerals like potassium.

Answer

There’s no such thing as benefits of a single food. It’s an accumulation of good food and an elimination of bad food that provides benefits. Will you get the same amount of nutrients from it? Yes it doesn’t just go away. Will you all of a sudden be healthy if you add it to a bad diet? No not at all, probably even worse to add it
