I’ve been doing OMAD on and off for a few years snd a lot of 16:8 too. But recently I started fasting 36+ hours in an alternate day program. I’ve felt its easier to accomplish it without looking at the app throughout the day. It seems daunting to see you’re only at 18 hours and halfway there for some reason but with just q schedule I feel like I have more willpower
Pressing “start” and “end” makes it feel more real to me, like there’s a definitive start instead of my just starting without a clock. And it’s satisfying to look back at my recent fasting successes later.
