Does anyone else…

Get to a point in your fast where you can’t stop looking at recipes? I’m in the middle of day 5 of a probably 8 day fast. Tonight I was overcome with the urge to watch TikTok videos of law carb recipes. I found some really great ones! But I have no clue why I’m doing this.

I’m almost done with my 14 day fast and I have looked up so many recipes, watched so much British Baking Show, and ordered so many non-perishable groceries for next week online (holiday discounts and coupons aren’t helping). I’ll still have to wait a week to eat some of the groceries because they don’t fit into my weeklong refeed. Help.

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve? All these holiday parties make it so difficult to stay on a fast. I just finished a 48hr fast and not sure what to do about tomorrow. Fast or no fast until after the new year

Answer

I just put my shopping list together for Monday, my second day of refeeding after a 7 day fast, eggs for Sunday are already in the fridge. Planning helps me keep from giving in to the boredom of not eating.
