And any good ways to deal if anyone knows?
Think about something else. I’m retired so I have a lot of free time. I read books or watch movies and crochet. It keeps my mind and my hands occupied. The Linus Project gets another afghan when I dry fast.
Yes, I get cravings as my body lets me know that it is ready to end the dry fast. My body naturally craves fruit because of the hydration and the natural appeal - the wholeness of the food. Not for example, junk food - a cleaned body craves clean foods. Cravings are mental though, so you have to push through them if you want to continue on
Yep. Especially wet refreshing fruit like watermelon, pineapple, strawberries.Tbh it´s one of my biggest downsides with it (personally) since even diluted juice or low carb kombucha will kickstart my cravings for non- plain water drinks. So if I go crave it constantly for days, odds are I will have it after the fast and then again and again and again for a while after :P Most fruits and especially juice is way too high sugar if on a diet, and can often create cravings for more.So if you do it to lose weight - I´d advice to try your best to redirect the cravings to something else (real low carb food) or at least tell yourself that yeah, it seems great now but you won´t have any later either. Ofc it will be individual but I ended up gaining 5kg (more than before the fast) shortly after ending the refeeding regime :P Mainly by getting obsessed with flavoured drinks and fruit.
Edit: sorry I don´t really have any better advice than that, trying to think about something else in general I guess, or look up recipies for “good” food, for instance keto food, or dream about non-sugar flavoured bubble water which also tastes like heaven just when breaking the fast.
