Does consecutive fasts cumulate?

Hello,

I always read the the longer a fast will be, the deeper the healing process will be.

But i also some remark about the possibility of consecutives fasts being cumlative and might egal to a longer one.

Does some of you have informations about this and the method to follow?

I took the habbits to make a 36 h fast on monday (last meal sunday evening to lunch on thuesday) and another of 36 hours or longer from thursday evening to saturday. I will try to push them until sunday when my week end is free.

For me it’s convenient to do this with the rythme of my week but I can adapt this if there is a more efficient way.
Will it works?

I’am open to suggestions and advices. (Also I purely fast for health reasons)

Answer

shorter consecutive fasts are not equal to a long fast. i did for months a 60 hour dry fast every week. once i did a 7 day dry fast it was a total different experience. felt my time would’ve been better if i did a long first

Water fasting reaches it’s peak at 5 days and continues healing at that rate everyday onward. I can’t find any scientific data as to what dry fasting does to the body but you can safely assume that 1 day dry fasted = 2 days water fasted.

I’m gonna burst a few bubbles with this but well here goes

Of course even daily 16hrs fasts will heal, but not much, even after years. You’ll be healthy though, but your problems won’t go away. For me, deeper healing starts around 5 days water fasted, but between day 1 and day 5 l don’t really feel like any healing is occurring, and whatever goes away comes back after l refeed. After 5 days though your body really gets going, and it’s the best part. From then on every day spent fasting is a day where your body is deeply healed, you gotta try it out for yourself to really appreciate it. Since your hunger will be completely gone and your energy levels back to normal by that point, you’ll be free to continue a very long time.

You could also go 60 hours dry then switch to a water fast, electrolytes might be a problem so get that covered as you switch over. Best of luck
