Answer

If you can’t heal from a cold, then your capacity to heal is greatly impaired. I know of no other practices that will increase/improve your capacity to heal than dry fasting. You ought to thank the cold for revealing this weakness for you.

Answer

Try a 24-hour and then refeed on broth and see what happens. Might not be a cold.

I’d be hesitant to do an extended dry fast with an active viral infection. There are not a ton of studies on fasting but I do seem.to recall that one of the pathways for viral replication can be enhanced during dry fasting. I’ll see if I can find the reference.

If it does turn out to be a cold, once you’ve shaken it, give your body a week or so and then do a three day (or even 5 or 7) and then see.
