Does Eating keto after fasting for short bursts keeps off the weight ?

I’ve noticed some folks saying that after their 5 or 7 day fast, they will do an OMAD and eat keto. This will allow them to keep off majority of the weight that they lost during their fast. Is there any science to this or are people just kidding when they say this ?

FWIW , I’m 86 hrs into my 7 day fast and not hungry at all but I would like to get some food in me after my 7 days and keep the weight off.

Keeping your insulin levels down is probably the key as a significant amount of weight during the first week is water loss, primarily from the decrease in insulin. If you look at most prolonged fasting, weight lost drops significantly since your insulin levels have already dropped and you are then only dropping fat. Keto and OMAD immediately after will maintain keeping your insulin levels low.
