I bought Procter and a Gamble’s Seven Seas Cod liver oil capsules. The packing has Vitamin A, D, EPA, DHA mentioned but doesn’t mentiom Omega 3 fatty acids
Basic Google search didn’t help clearly.
So wanted to know if this (or each) Cod Liver Oil capsules have Omega 3 fatty acids or not.
EPA and DHA are omega 3 fatty acids, so it sounds like your cod liver oil does. In general all cod liver oil preparation should have some omega-3 fatty acids, but the amount may vary depending upon whether the preparation is designed to deliver vitamins or fatty acids.
If the ingredient list does not include Omega 3 then it isn’t there….there could be a cod liver oil product that has had it added to it, however…..you may be able to find something like that in a health food store….
