I recently heard this claim. Was wondering if it’s true
From what I’ve read at certain points during the fast, your metabolism actually speeds up. Not to mention if you are fasting. Once the liver glycogen levels are out your body is burning, purely fat for energy.
I’ve done a small amount of reading on this and the “study’s” referenced in the literature I was reading indicate this to possibly be true. Without scrolling through new posts I just pretty much posted this same question so my bad.
