Does this fasting method work ?

I was thinking of doing 3 high calorie days and 4 low calorie days with intermittent fasting.On my high cal days I would have 2000 calories and my TDEE 1800 calories.That would put me in a weekly calorie deficit.Is this a good option to lose weight?

Try it. The best plan for you is the one you stick to. If you find you can’t or it isn’t moving your towards your goal, then you change it. Some of us have pretty wild looking schedules after going through this process but that’s how we found what works

This sounds like JUDDDD aka Dr Johnson’s Up Day Down Day Diet. He wrote a book and had a website that had a calorie calculator for the up days and the down days. Sadly the website is gone as well as the calculator (but fortunately I remember my numbers should I want to go back to it). A regular calorie calculator isn’t the same. I did really well eating this way. It was my first stab into fasting about 10 years ago.

Like, what are your eating/fasting window times? Are you planning on eating seperate, distinct meals, or grazing the window? Are you eating a whole foods plan, or McDonald’s plan?
