Answer

I am not a doctor, but I wouldn’t think so.

I would also think that absent a saline drip given intravenously, it wouldn’t be very healthy to deprive your body of water for that long.

We can go without food for quite a long time, but water not so much.

Answer

Water is absorbed into the bloodstream rather than digested. A balanced water and electrolyte mixture (like pure trace minerals, not a flavored packet) should not disrupt the digestive tract but would actually aid it.

All humans digestive tracts stay relatively “active” even when not breaking down caloric substance due to the process of peristalsis which is completely involuntary.

TLDR; drink water with electrolytes, your GI tract healing should be aided and undisturbed.

Answer

You need water. Don’t mess with dehydration like this. You can damage many things like this and feel very unwell. Water is very very very low stress for our bodies to absorb. Our kidneys are finicky and bad things happen when our body gets too dry. Double and triple that when there are underlying health issues.

Answer

Don’t play with you health. We can go days and month without food, but not without water. It’s the second most important after air.

You need it to regulate body temperature (cooling), blood pressure (high if not enough water = thick blood is hard to pump. Cells need water to generate energy. Cells need water to get rid of waste products by osmosis and lots more.Like your brain being a liquid crystal structure… just don’t torture yourself.

Having water and minerals is great enough to get optimal benefits from fasting.
