Does water fasting increase your life force energy as dry fasting?

I have been on semen retention and plan to stay celibate until I achieve my life goals. Obviously the 3 most prolific ways of obtaining more life force energy is through semen retention, fasting and meditation. But does dry fasting increase as much as water fasting? Meditating while dry fasting is very hard as I’m constantly thinking about water. How do eastern spiritual cultures practice fasting? I live in a western society so much of this is not taught to me.

Edit: Title should be - Does water fasting increase your life force energy as much as dry fasting?

Answer

There is no 1 the most potent technique out of all 3 because each of these techniques are very unique.

Fasting is extremely powerful because you literally going beyond the survival of your physical body. Celibacy is a total denial of your most basic desire for pleasure which again is going beyond material needs. Meditation is mastering your mind and seeing through the illusion of your thoughts/ego which raises your consciousness. All of these techniques complement each other.

I practise all of them. Fasting so far has been the most beneficial for me in terms of facing all emotions and fears that I’ve been denying my whole life. Fasting is very deep and it’s been the most transformative.

Dry fasting for sure is way more powerful than a water fast. It’s denying your physical survival to a whole new level and going beyond survival is what’s grows you spiritually.

Meditation helped me to detach from thoughts to some degree, but it’s nothing to compare with fasting. However, I’m not the most disciplined or talented meditator. Some people are just talented at meditating and reach jhanas in no time. Hence for them, meditation could be more transformative than fasting.

In terms of celibacy, I don’t have a partner at the moment and I feel more elevated and energetic when I don’t watch porn and masturbate. When I come, I literally feel as I lose some energy and become weak.

Face your fears of dry fasting. I’ve never fasted dry nor I had much experience with water fasting either (5-days longest) and as of now, I’m 50h+ into soft dry and feeling great. Ready to face and accept it all.

Everything starts with a mindset and intention. I want the Truth so much that I don’t care about ego survival anymore. I want the connection with God/Source/Truth/Consciousness more than anything else. Once you get this you’ll be ready to do what it takes.

All the best on your journey.

Answer

Yeah waterfasting increases your life force energy. Obviously, dryfasting is the most potent of all of these. Even the most talented meditator will find himself increasing to levels he had not reached before. I did meditate while dryfasting it is hard, but I found it to be to much to fast. Raising frequency to fast. That’s because dryfasting is a meditation itself. The longer you dryfast the deeper in the meditation you go. It’s 24/7 all day everyday. Until you become the waking dream. Open eyes meditation…walking through life meditation.

Answer

It is relative to the state of your body. Dry fasting is more potent but always doing the most potent isn’t helpful. As you’ve shared it makes meditation harder to focus. Meditation will allow your energy to increase the most so start with what you can manage and as your energy and vitality increases take on more discipline
