DoFasting Supplements?

Has anyone tried the DoFasting supplements? I fell off the wagon big time, need to get back on. It seems to have decent reviews, but I’m wondering how many of those are paid! TIA!

EDIT: I feel like I need to explain what I’m asking about. DoFasting has what they call supplements…they’re supposed to make you feel full so you can fast for longer periods of time. Here is a link: https://supplements.dofasting.com I don’t know the relationship of these to the DoFasting app.

In case this isn’t an ad… This is 100% bullshit. It’s just a fiber supplement (which you could argue breaks a fast anyway, so…) with as much fancy marketing and data farming and buzzwords as they could afford to throw on one webpage. Just buy glucomannan or metamucil instead.

Answer

I mean, it just looks like an expensive soluble fiber supplement. It “could” work to help you feel full and fiber by itself doesn’t cause an insulin response so it wouldn’t necessarily break your fast or prevent weight loss.

But it’s not something I would recommend. It reminds me so much of the fad diet pills that you see everywhere that don’t really do much in the long run. And I don’t trust any supplement company that’s not transparent about where it sources it’s ingredients or manufacturers products.

I saw an ad the other day for fasting food, I am not kidding. They claim all the benefits of fasting while still eating. All I could think was wow they want me to pay them $100 a month for what I can do for FREE.
