doing a big fast for my wedding

I’ve been on and off again water(ish) fasting for 4 to 5 days at a time for a few months now. Basically a week on, a week off. I’m starting a new one today, and even picked up a fasting app to help out.

I’m getting married soon, so I’m hoping to lose a fair amount of weight to look better for the big day. I’m even considering the merits of fasting until the big day even- about 28 days at this point.

Anyway, I don’t have an questions or anything. Just kinda looking for morle support if anything. 😋 Cheers

Edit: I’m not really asking for fasting advice. I just wanted a place to be excited and share vibes. If people keep telling me that I’m doing things wrong, or shouldn’t do whatever, im just going to delete this post.

this really is not healthy. week on week-off fasting is really violent on the body. you should take extended breaks between fasts. fasting should be sustainable. maybe switching to a more aggressive intermittent, like 18-6 or even 20-4, would be better.

Dude, don’t do all 28. You never know how the refeeding process will work out and it could lead to drastic illness during your wedding and ruin the whole ceremony. I’d recommend sticking to a max of 4 days before your wedding just to have enough time to stabilize.
