Doing a mix of 16:8 and OMAD but I work 9am-6pm should I incorporate cardio?

New to intermittent fasting and lost 4ish pounds in the first 2 weeks and love the lifestyle. I’m just wondering I don’t count calories and eat whatever but I work a desk job. If I was to eat whatever I want should I incorporate some form of weightlifting cardio as well or just stick to what I’m doing?

You should incorporate some form of weights (this can be body weight) and cardio for your general health and fitness.

Fasting isn’t magic. You can’t out fast a bad diet. What does “what ever I want” look like to you? I pretty much eat what ever I want but my diet is whole food, cooked by me and vegan. It would be different if I was eating out or knocking back Starbucks all day.

What is your goal here? What do you prioritize?

My personal view is that there are few people who won’t benefit from lifting something heavier than they usually do and moving their body with purpose.
