Someone earlier asked a very important question, but deleted it. I was under the impression that while we embark on any time of prolonged fasting the body significantly increases HGH, Tesosterone, and BDNF in response to fasting, and further increases throughout the duration of said fast. To clarify, does your tesosterone go down with dry fasting?
My intuition (based on mechanistic reasonings and more importantly on testimonies seen on this sub or elsewhere) is that prolonged dry fast would tend to lower testosterone (because of extreme caloric restriction) while short term / intermittent dry fasting would tend to increase it and DHT provided calories aren’t restricted.
