Dry fasting headaches 😩 Advice on how to avoid?

Hey Snaker 👋

Having hella hard times with dry fasting headaches. Any tips??

I prefer dry fasting over SJ because it’s sooooo much easier for me personally. In terms of suppressing hunger. Plus, I need to tighten up arm and inner thigh skin. But I find that about 15 hrs in, I get a fierce headache….

My eyeballs need to be glued to a computer all day for studies and work. A pounding head really cockblocks all that! It affects productivity big time.

Doing 3 days of TMAD + heavy weights. Every 4th day I do 36 hours dry fasting (+ steady state moderate pace nature walk). Then back into 3 days structured macros + heavy lifting….4th day dry fast..and so on.

I heard Omega 3 oil helps prep body for dry fasting if taken day before. So I’ve been spooning that down on the 3 food days.

I drink 3L water plus big cup of black coffee on food days/training days ONLY. So I shouldn’t be dehydrated going into the dry fast.

  1. What are some tricks I could do the day of the dry fast day to prevent headaches?

  2. Taking Advil with water would break the fast, so I want to avoid that.

Thank youuuu for any and all helpful answers in advance 🙏 😊

Answer

You need to be drinking more water. 3L of water is the amount of water that an 80-90kg person should be intaking just to maintain baseline functions. That’s 3L across food and drink intake, but you’re going into your fasts dehydrated. Also, if you’re sitting at a computer for most of your day, then you’re probably getting tension headaches. Try stretching out your neck, shoulders, and thoracic spine to alleviate some pressure.
