It has been a month and I enjoy this way of life. On “at home days” I find it hard to drink snake juice and find myself using electrolyte powder. But the last two days I have found myself drinking a cup of black coffee in the morning then nothing not even water until it’s time for bed. Some people call it dry fasting but it seems so wrong and don’t really know what I’m doing but my body seems to be doing better with no water during the day. Am I making it harder by limiting water as well?
No. Your not making it harder, but your really not gaining anything by limiting water. You may see the scale go down, but it’s an illusion. Once you start drinking again, you will put back the water weight you lost. Take my anecdotal evidence as it is.
I’ve been doing 3 day fasts for a few months and I don’t drink snakejuice. I haven’t had a problem either. Adding complexity to my situation is the fact I’m diabetic. When I started fasting I was taking snakejuice. I stopped taking it and have no problem.
I drink plenty of sugar free flavored water (like Crystal Light). I will drink 2 cups of bullet proof coffee with MCT oil in thhe mornings. I don’t drink any coffee after noon because it negatively impacts my sleep. Coffee helps appease hunger and relagted pain. It will make tyou feel “no hungry.”
I’ve found nit kind of hard to “mess up” fasting. My goal is weight loss. I have foundit hard to mess that up, short of downing a bunch of food, especially carbs. As long as I’m not eating, for the most part, I drop about 5 pounds a week. I say “for the most part” because there are times I break fast by eating a small amoutn of beef jerky, or altoids, or liver. I’ll eat very small amoiunt to satiate hunger and the pain and still lose weight.
Good luck to you!
