Dry fasting tipps for being thirsty

So i tried my first dry fasts in the last couple of days, i was doing water fasts and IF at the start of 2020 and was able to loose about 20 Kilos until around september maybe, but with the second covid lockdown hitting my country and university exams standing in front of my door i kinda gave into my old habits and gained around 10Kg back until a week ago.
I read a lot of dry fasting and wanted to start slowly, so i did a 24H dry fast from tuesday to wednesday and when i woke up i was insane thirsty. I did another one the past 24H ( drank maybe 1 litre of water in between those fasts) and was a bit dizzy today after waking up and again was thirsting for water like crazy. Anyone else experience similar symptoms and maybe got a few tipps for me?
Since the weekend is coming along and i dont gotta be so active for that id thought about maybe trying a 48H dry fast and see where it leads.

Honestly, it doesn’t get much better. You’ll be thirsty the longer you keep going. I did a 6 day dry fast and by day 6 I found myself mumbling “I just need water, I just need water” ….. it was insane. If you break the dry fast make sure you get a lot of liquids back in you before you start again.

I wish there was a way to not be thirsty but there isn’t. You can’t control your body it’s just doing its thing. Try to entertain yourself by doing other things to ignore the thirst. Also the more you do it the easier it’ll be to ignore the thirst and just be used to it.
