some brands have more fat and calories then others, but all around the same protein

some brands have 350 kcal per 100g and others close to 500g
between 3 and 18g of fat on different brands, same ingredients (Edamame beans and salt). Why is there such a large difference? Either one is a great protein source though
yeah, i’ve seen certain products vary like this and it stumps me too. what i try and do is go with a reputable brand. for roasted edamame, i’d choose seapoint.
it could be that the nutrition label has the calories correct and the ingredients are listed incorrectly (and there’s oil)
I buy frozen edamame without the shell at Whole Foods. 100g of it is 140kCal, 11g of protein, 5g of fat, 11g of carbs. I forgot how much fiber but it had a good amount too. Only takes 2min in a microwave to warm up!
