Basically I took some chicken Pattie’s cut them up and dipped them in a combo of mayo, hot sauce and lemon pepper.
And then had a bunch of sour Krat and some Brazil bite cheesey bread rolls
And some string cheese added to the mix as well.
Did I just pick foods that were guaranteed to keep me hungry?

Yeah maybe. How many calories of mayonnaise? Were the chicken patties breaded? Calories add up fast when meals are empty carb or fat heavy and you will feel more satiated with high protein and high veg meals.
I would recommend focusing on getting lots of green veggies and lean proteins until you get comfortable. Then you can start mixing in some more junk foods, but you will probably find that you feel better with more nutritious meals.

Damn, I over did it today too.
Turkey Pot Pie was enough but I was like “eh, I got plenty of calories left, let me have some of that venison sausage and that wild leek & morel cheese.
That was more than enough but then I was like, let me finish off that last serving of gelato I’ve been ignoring in the freezer b/c I’m making vegetable soup stock tomorrow and I need the container to freeze some of the broth in. I literally ate ice cream for the container. Who does that. (it was pistachio gelato)
It takes approximately 30 minutes for me to feel full, even when it only took me 10 minutes to eat my entire meal. I have a rule that I eat only what I’ve planned and then I must wait 30 minutes, after that if I’m still truly hungry, I’ll eat a little more. 99% of the time after that 30 minutes is up I’m not hungry anymore.
Having said that, your meal doesn’t sound that filling to me. I get full from a good amount of veggies and protein, a little bit of fat, and a little bit of complex carbs. Also are you sure that was 1600 calories of food? Are you weighing or measuring what you eat?
