Duramine assisted fasting - anyone else try it?

When I first got into fasting I utilised duramine (basically prescribed speed) to kill the hunger pangs, there’s a few downsides but it worked. I’m giving it a go again for a 24h fast (I’m working 12 hours today), anyone have thoughts on it?

Edit: had to break the fast with a banana, was starting to get dizzy 😅 won’t be attempting it again.

Kia ora! I was on Duramine a few years ago, before I even heard of IF, and that shit was ROUGH. I was on it for a month, and ended up with heart palpitations and fainting. I had to sleep for basically two weeks to detox from it, even reading the name of it brings back bad memories. I also put the weight (and more) back on when I stopped, it was only a temporary solution. Good luck!

I’m in NZ too, smashing 30mg of durimine a day and fasting 18:6 with reduced calories.

I find it easier as I get energy from the duromine, like you said it comes from the amphet class of drugs, very closley related to amphetamine.

Hey there, if you took it for the first time today and tried to fast for 24 hours it likely won’t work as it takes a few days to actually build up in your system. I go through phases where I do a month on & a couple weeks off, it always takes a couple days to kick in & send away the hunger pangs when I restart.
