If you are familiar with the Fasting Mimicking Diet, this is literally the poor man’s version. You can buy some Prolon meal kit thing, or you can replicate the macros by eating 2 avocados a day. So will you be water fasting? No, but you body will still in a very fasted like state.

Depends on what you consider fasting. Lots of super hardcore people out there that will accuse you of breaking your fast if you swallow your own saliva lol.
Pretty significant amount of calories in an avocado though. Dr. Valter Longo’s fasting mimicking diet allows around 500 calories per day. The Buchinger fasting method allows for around 250 calories. Lots of variation of “fasting”, so just depends on how hardcore you want to be. To me, as long as you’re still accomplishing the goals you want from fasting, that’s all that matters.
