I do 8-16 IF, I typically eat between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Most weekdays I do a class at my gym at 9:30 a.m. that is usually a mixture of cardio, weights and abs, or sometimes Zumba. I manage fine in the class on an empty stomach and have good energy. But I’m wondering if this is a good idea for my health, and maintaining good IF habits?
I’ve been doing something similar, 18:6 with eating window 2-8pm. I usually work out in the mornings twice a week from 8-9am. Just a cup of black coffee and lots of water beforehand. No issues!
Whatever is sustainable for you is a good IF habit.
I almost always do my cardio fasted. With a 9:30 class, I’d assume you finish with just a little time before you’re able to eat? So I think you’re fine. Everyone is different but eating before makes me feel sluggish.
