23:1, omad at about 6 pm. Sometimes later if my work keeps me late, but I try not to eat after 8 max because I usually fall sleep better that way. I also work a physical job so that helps with losing more. My body clings to fat real hard so I found this pair up works best for me.
20:4 and I eat from 10 am to 2:00 pm and then I’m not hungry the rest of the day. But I guess I’m kind of in the minority. I’m starving all morning because I’m an anxious person so I can’t wait until noon. Once I get my calories in it’s no problem not eating anymore the rest of the day. But my kids are grown and I live alone so I can do what I want.
During my 20/4 intermittent fasting, I eat between 4-8pm. During my dry fasting, I eat and drink between 4-5pm.
During the day I’m busy and I don’t really think about being hungry, but later in the day and early evening is when it becomes a problem, that’s why I eat later in the day. I started out eating between 12-4pm, but after 4pm was brutal for me.
20:4 or some modified Omad. For 20:4 I’ll eat 2 full meals, sometimes with dessert (pineapple) in between.
For modified Omad I’ll break my fast with some broth (~6-12 cals) and 4 hours later have my big Omad.
If I eat early in the day, I’m hungry for the rest of the day and many times will break the fast early. I’m ok if I eat in the afternoon, but dinner time is best for me. That’s when I have the best success with keeping to a fast afterwards.
I’m 16/8, usually eating from noon-8 pm. This is later than would be ideal, but eating dinner together is important to my husband and me. If my fast doesn’t actually fit my life, I won’t be able to keep it, so this is what works. I’m in week 6 and down about 9 pounds so far.
For me, I eat from 7:30 to 12:30, because my plan was 18:6, but I always start eating at roughly 7:30, and lunch is over at 12:30. So when I’ve already eaten from 12:00-12:30, I don’t want to eat during the extra hour, or else I feel sick from eating too much. Nowadays it’s more like a 19:5 fast haha.
I prefer mornings because a) I start off my day with more energy b) when you wake up, you’re not nearly as hungry, so I can moderate portion size easier if I’m not that hungry and c) I don’t want calories sitting in my stomach from dinner. I know some people eat dinner at like 6:30, but if I did so, and go to bed at 10:30/11:00, my body would barely process the food. My blood sugar would stop rising, but other than that, the calories wouldn’t be burned off and I don’t need food to sleep anyway.
I do a 16:8 and my window is noon til 8.
Saturday’s are different because I cook breakfast for me and my wife. Then I’ll just eat supper at the normal time. 46lbs down since March and I’m currently in maintenance.
