I noticed that an eating window of 8 hours is really too much for me, so to lower my intake of food I try to keep it under 1 hour. Is this alright? 16-23 hours of fasting and 1 hour of eating?
As long as you’re getting your required nutrients and calories for the whole day in that window, I would think it’s fine. I can’t comfortably eat more than about 500 calories of quality food and veggies at one time, so OMAD doesn’t work well for me, but it sure seems to work for many people. I’m sure others will have thoughts as well.
