Endometriosis and dryfasting

Hello everyone, I am thinking about dry fasting to see how it can affect my cycle. I have extremely painful period with vomiting diarrhea backpain. I have missed countless numbers of days from school and older from work. I went to the ER so many times since I was a teenager. I am 33 now and I am tired of this. Most women advice a hysterectomy or ablation. I am thinking about having a kid or two before moving to something so extreme, although it sounds like the only durable solution. Women who dry fast did you see any difference on your cycle? Pain, flow, duration? Thank you

Dry fasting is amazing if you have any kind of issues with your period. I used to have very heavy periods since adolescence and the only times they were normal or even low, were mostly on dry fasts. I used to have very random cycles too, not having my period for months and then having my period for several weeks without end.

For a time I was actually dry fasting each time my period would start just to not have to deal with the heavy bleeding. I honestly would barely bleed when dry fasting.

When I stick to a low-carb, carnivore diet, it’s also pretty good. But dry fasting makes it almost unnoticeable.

You really should give it a try.

Long term if you do want to have kids, you should go low-carb.

I have PCOS and I have had issues with actually being fertile for several years. Again, the only times I was doing good was during fasts or eating healthily ( carnivore or low-carb ).

You should check this video, it really explains what is going on with our bodies and why we end up with those specific struggles:

Hope it helps.

Answer

In combination with dry fasting, you should try an elimination diet.

I’m partial to Carnivore, but I think other people have claimed success going vegetarian or vegan.

But from carnivore, you can find testimonials on period-related pain on ZeroCarbZen.com and MeatHeals.com
