This time around I’m thinking about fully entering ketosis prior to beginning my fast. I’m thinking this will make the first few days of the fast less difficult and will lessen any muscle loss. Thoughts? Experiences?
Yes, it does make it easier. However, keeping up on sodium also makes it easier. Frankly, it doesn’t matter how you go in, but eating low carb on the way out will have the best effect on keeping the weight off (if that’s your goal).
