Erythritol and horrible sweet cravings

Whenever I add erythritol to my black tea/ coffee during my fasting window I then crave sweets later on and I generally eat more food during my feeding window. Does anyone experience the same thing or am I the only one? 🤔

Answer

Sweeteners trigger cravings in some people. You could try slowly reducing the amount you add, eventually you will get used to it black. Also a bit of salt helps in black coffee, removes some of the bitterness.

I absolutely experience this, but for some reason it’s better in the evenings. I wound up changing my fasting window to 3pm-7am because artificial sweeteners don’t make me hungry in the evening but they slay me in the morning (and I really like a packet of Splenda in my coffee). YMMV all around of course.
