Does your body get its fat soluble vitamins and omega 3s and 6s from your adipose tissue when fasting? Or does it just turn adipose tissue into ATP and survive without essential fats for the duration of fasting. Only scientific answers please.
Does metabolized body fat during fasted states perform all the same functions to the same degree as ingested dietary fat during fed states? Or does metabolized fat from adipose tissue only provide ATP and no other functions like skin, brain, eye function? We know the body stores triglycerides in their original form in adipose tissue.
