Hi so little background. I’ve done a 8 day fast early October and had to end it due to wanting to throw up (hard to keep water down or electrolytes) just listened to my body and ended it early. I was taking a pre-snake juice packet daily that contained 100.00 Magnesium 1,045.00 mg Sodium 1,300.00 mg Potassium 3.00 Boron. I would take around 85 oz. of water daily. It became hard to stomach without wanting to throw up on day #6-7 and ended fast on day #8.
This second time I’m on day #6 and starting to feel the same way I was last time, I’ve changed up how I take electrolytes/amount of water and its still happening the same way. I’m still drinking roughly 85oz of water a day, but held back on electrolytes more than the first time to see if that changed anything. This second time it was even hard to stomach magnesium/potassium on day 1 this time around without gagging where as my first fast it was simple to stomach. Even taking salt makes me want to gag way more than it did my first fasting session.

I’ve been trying to go for a longer fast of 20-30 days but it seems every time I try its just the same issue of wanting to throw up on days 6-8 and stopping the fast for that reason.
Any suggestions on what i may be doing wrong/try differently next time? I’ve been on a keto diet the entire month of October as well so not taking a lot of food that would increase my stomach acid or so i think. I plan to probably break my fast here due to this issue within the next day or two and start again in November so any suggestions would be appreciated!
Similar in a lot of ways here. I didn’t mind snake juice and have no problem downing it the first few days but as time goes on, something just keeps making it harder/triggering gagging too. I switched to taking things raw (shake a bit into my hand throughout the day and it’s been MUCH better. I also don’t start until day 2-3

You might need to look into other ways to taking your electrolytes (raw, dabbing, pill form, etc) if your body is noping the same way mine did. Juice just wasn’t sustainable for me and it sounds similar for you

Good luck and I hope you find your solution
