Excessive thirst

I’ve been getting excessive thirst, headaches and constant salty mouth for the past 2 days. I figure it’s from an electrolyte imbalance, either too many electrolytes or too little (drinking a gallon + a day). Can anyone weigh in?

People will need more information and besides, every body is a little different

IF it was me (big if here), excessive thirst is too little water or too much electrolytes to water ratio. Headaches are my telltale sign my salts are low because I rarely get headaches. Salty mouth I’ve never had so I can’t comment there. In my case, I know something is off but since the signals conflict for me, my mindset is “I lost control - cut the fast, get rebalanced, and try again later”

Also, I’d never suggest just toughing out issues for 2 whole days on a fast. As soon as something feels off, start asking questions/trying to correct it. If you can’t solve the issue quickly, get out and get rebalanced in my opinion. There’s no reward for having a fast a couple days longer but doing serious damage to your body
