I’ve lost over 60 pounds, but I did keto in conjunction with OMAD, which some people might find too restrictive (but I actually find keto helps facilitate fasting because I’m satiated for a lot longer with that diet).
I lost 30lbs over 3 months once by cutting out alcohol and eating one meal a day.
Didn’t intend to do OMAD. Started off doing 16:8 and my eating window just naturally shrank over a few weeks to wear I just ate once.
Just nursed a couple cups of black coffee a day, drank a lot of water and ate a sensible meal for dinner.
My weight fluctuated daily, but every month I was down exactly 10bs.
I didn’t really notice a difference, TBH. Still felt pretty much the same, aside from being amazed at how little hunger I felt.
It wasn’t until at the grocery store and my pants almost fell down did it really sink in how much weight I had lost.
