I don’t eat much cauliflower, but I definitely get this after broccoli. Found out this connection recently on accident. I believe I read online it is partly due to broccoli being high in sulfur compounds. Unfortunately no advice from me - but I would love to know if anyone else provides some!
Just give it time or slowly increase your veggie content over time . Your microbiome will adapt.Drastic diet changes will always cause temporary imbalances of gut flora. I eat about a pound and half of cruciferous vegetables per day with no gas , but did not start out that way , lol.
your body may just not want cruciferous vegetables. if you’re eating them raw i’d say definitely start cooking them. using a pressure cooker if you have one will help break down the compounds that you’re having trouble digesting. you may also just be having poor digestion in general but those foods are the most obvious, in which case you might want to try digestive enzymes and probiotics with meals.
Pretty sure it’s due to the fiber content. Curious how long you’ve been consuming these veggies on a daily basis and the frequency. Because I would assume at some point your body would adjust to this issue and the farts would stop..or not.
